Terms of Sale

1. The trader

2. Who it applies to

These terms apply to orders placed on siroponyva.hu. Orders are accepted from private individuals (consumers) only; for business orders please contact us directly.

By sending an order the Customer declares having read and accepted these terms, the privacy notice and the product and material information.

3. The product

A PVC terrace cover made to the sizes, windows, doors, colour and finish the Customer set in the configurator. The sizes are part of the order; the drawing, the figures given and the list of fittings (zips, screws, hook loops, straps, bottom edge) together describe what is made.

After the order is sent we check that every required detail and size is present and that what was given can be made. This is not an on-site survey and not a check of the sizes' correctness: the Customer measures and gives the sizes and is responsible for them (size declaration). If we see a contradiction we get in touch before manufacture. Manufacture starts only once the sizes are final and the payment request is settled.

4. Price and payment

The price is the total shown in the configurator at the moment of ordering (in HUF, without VAT, the trader being VAT-exempt). Delivery is not included: the cover is sent by courier and the charge is given in the confirmation, from the parcel size. We do not fit covers; the cover is fitted by the Customer following the guide supplied.

Payment by bank transfer against the payment request issued after the order. Beneficiary: Síró Mario János e.v., K&H Bank Zrt., account no. 10403404-86767777-74541000 (IBAN HU29 1040 3404 8676 7777 7454 1000, BIC OKHBHUHB). Please quote the order number (R-…) as the reference. The invoice is issued once payment arrives and sent by e-mail.

5. Lead time and handover

The lead time counts from the settlement of the payment request and is given in working days in the confirmation. The finished cover is sent by courier to the address given, or can be collected from the workshop by arrangement. Please inspect the parcel on receipt; have any damage recorded with the courier and let us know.

6. Withdrawal

The cover is made to the Customer's individual request and sizes. Under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) § 29 (1) c) the 14-day right of withdrawal without giving reasons does not apply to such products.

Before manufacture starts (until the payment request is settled) the order can be cancelled free of charge by e-mail.

7. Warranty

The statutory warranty for defects under the Hungarian Civil Code applies. In case of a defect the Customer may first ask for repair or replacement. The UV and colour-fastness conditions of the PVC material are given in the product information.

Not covered: deviations arising from incorrect sizes where the cover was made to the sizes the Customer gave and confirmed; improper use; and natural wear (for example the film dulling over time).

8. Complaints

Complaints can be sent by e-mail (info@siroponyva.hu) or by phone (06 30 356 3239); we reply in writing within 30 days. If a complaint cannot be settled, the Customer may turn to the conciliation body of their place of residence (Budapest Conciliation Board, 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99) or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

9. Other

Ordering and confirmation take place electronically; the contract is formed when the confirmation e-mail is sent, in Hungarian, is not a written contract and is not filed. Hungarian law governs these terms. In case of any difference between this translation and the Hungarian text, the Hungarian text prevails.
